The Creative Scale-Up Programme is fully funded by the Department for Digital Culture Media and Sport (DCMS) and has been created to further develop what is already a thriving industry, helping creative organisations based in the Greater Manchester region attract investment to grow their business sustainably. Creative Scale-Up is open to a variety of Greater Manchester region businesses operating in the creative industry, including but not limited to; gaming, film, music, publishing, art and design.

The GC Business Growth Hub is a community of specialists with a passion to help businesses across Greater Manchester to realise their ambitions. We support businesses at all stages of their growth journey with our broad range of services all fully funded. We offer expert one-to-one and peer-to-peer business support, events, specialist programmes, funding and much more. The Digital Creative and Technology Sectors team specifically targets businesses who operate within the sector, providing a breadth of services to DCT businesses in Greater Manchester. To eligible businesses we offer specialist one to one support, as well as programmes that include the longstanding Greater Connected, Exceed and more recently the Creative Scale-up Programme, a two-year pilot programme designed to equip creative businesses with the tools needed to become investment ready. Participation in these programmes unlocks a span of support including access to mentors, face to face time with investors, potential investment, and a longstanding community with like-minded businesses in the sector.
